In 2011, Squadra was invited to design the gate of the Saudi Embassy in Amman.

The brief included a chosen Quranic verse to be placed at the entrance of the building.

Our proposal consisted of two options: the first one used the meaning of the verse to be reflected in the calligraphic design and the way it blended with the various materials and backgrounds: whereas the second one used some letters to mimic elements of the flag of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
